Be The Change Bolton youth group new mini bus and football kit donation

A YOUTH football group is delighted after receiving not only new football kits but also a mini bus to travel to matches.

Be The Change, a Bolton-based youth group led by Daniel Sukula, have received the new kits and minibuses donated by new sponsor, Re-Rates UK.

New away kits funded by Re-Rates UK chief Jack Abadi are to complement home kits sponsored by Alex Matvienko at Elite Boxing Gym.

As well as the kits, Jack has also provided the U16 squad with a mini bus to help transport the boys to their away matches.

Daniel said: “We had been looking for sponsors for our away kit for some time and then Jack Abadi decided to sponsor not only our away kit but also team tracksuits and a minibus.

“This support will benefit many local young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, especially those who are hard to reach.

“With our own minibus it will help us to extend our reach in Bolton and organize more activities and trips for young people.

“We are very grateful for the support, especially at this time when the project is growing rapidly and there is an increased demand for our services.”

Players are also enjoying the new away kit.

Niko Galary said: “As a football player I believe if you feel good you play well and in this new kit I feel amazing.

“As a team, we often overcome struggles and obstacles in order to ensure that we can play our football every week, and although we have our ups and downs, this kit shows that there is much more to good things to come.”

Many grassroots teams have suffered since the start of the pandemic, something Jack from Re-Rates UK has acknowledged and wanted his local youth teams to continue.

He said: “Grassroots football is central to any young person’s life.

“At the start of the covid pandemic, grassroots football was immediately stopped due to the restrictions.

“Even after his return, many clubs had to close due to lack of funding and the inability to pay for kits and pitch equipment due to the withdrawal of sponsors due to the pandemic.

“That’s one of the main reasons why I decided to sponsor the club.”
